Following an intensive, 2-week Boot Camp selection process, we’ve invited 44 students (out of a short-list of over 100) to be a part of the 2022 iHub Africa training program! We have 17 placed at our Cape Town, Western Cape (WC) hub and 27 placed at our Johannesburg, Gauteng Province (GP) hub.  The 27 GP student group is shown in the featured photo above.

I had the opportunity to drop in on the WC hub located at Philippi Village on March 29th and got to meet and chat with the 17 students, hear and experience their passion to learn and answer some of their questions as a co-founder of the program.  Below is a more casual shot of our WC student cohort being a little goofy.

After I spent some time in casual conversation with several students during their lunch break, I captured these three photos below showing them seriously taking in the next digital lesson.

During this first phase of training that spans 8 weeks, they spend Mondays and Tuesdays studying digital marketing, Wednesday on Leadership and personal mastery, and Thursdays and Fridays learning Soft Skills.  Phase one will give them an excellent  foundation from which they’ll continue to go deeper in digital and soft skills theory and application in the next two phases that are each 12 weeks.

No one expresses what the iHub learning opportunity represents for these young adults to be part of this robust program better than Liz Skosana, the lead of our GP hub and also the lead of our Soft Skills for business curriculum.  Please take a moment to view a recent video shot by our Hillsong creative team that showcases the iHub program and captures Liz’ passion as one of our key leaders. So blessed to be able to give leadership to and support the excellent team that is bringing this  transformational program to our next cohort of amazing, hungry, humble and smart students!
