Hey dear friends and family, we are now back in Calgary, AB as of 20-March following our volunteering in Malawi and South Africa. We decided to move up our travel dates a couple weeks given all the flight and travel restrictions that were being imposed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We’ve started our 2-week self-isolation and have an apartment in the downtown core for the time being as we settle back in to life in Calgary.
It was sad to have to say farewell to all our friends and ministry partners in Cape Town and the Hillsong South Africa family.
These are very unprecedented times and only God knows what is in store for all of us in the months ahead but our hope and prayer is that we will be able to return to volunteer service with our partners Hillsong Africa Foundation (Andy) and Living in Color, SA (Sonya) at a point when it makes sense for us and for our family.
God’s provided some amazing opportunities for us to serve here in Cape Town and we are very grateful for each and every life we’ve had the privilege to impact for the Kingdom over these last 6+ years.
In the meantime we look forward to reconnecting with our three children, granddaughter, parents and extended family as well as many friends and supporters while we take time to refresh and renew our minds, bodies and spirits in the months ahead.
