Wow!  Our largest ever student cohort of 60 is well underway into their first Phase of learning.  After walking through a week of Orientation and Onboarding the last week of January, they have been rolling up their sleeves and leaning into the fast pace of 6-week “sprints” of learning – a blend of Digital Marketing technical skills and business Soft Skills as in previous years but reflecting the applied learnings from delivering this program for the 6th year running.

 

The iHub is a beehive of activity as you can see above and there will be some settling in to the new facility and expanded leadership team in the weeks ahead.

This year’s diverse and talented cohort includes 34 female and 26 male students spanning the ages of 20 to 30 years and averaging 25 years old. Below is a tile collage of each of them!

Our staff has grown significantly with sixteen permanent members, adding several more interns, and Operations Lead, departmental structure, and all being led by our newly appointed General Manager Liz Skosana.  Here is a look at the new iHub team for 2025!

As for my role on the iHub Board of Directors, we’ve decided to shift from monthly to a bimonthly meeting cadence for 2025, given the maturity and solid track record of the management team.

Should be another great year of seeing the potential and hard work of these students learning journey translate into good-paying digital marketplace jobs that will be transformational for them and their family’s future.
