Detailed Role, Responsibilities & Outcomes
The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying the Hillsong Africa Foundation WordPress-based website (front-end and back-end), from layout to function and according to specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Work with web security and payment processing systems.
Specifically, we are looking to create a online job placement board on our own website which will enable Employers to create job listing openings and potential candidates from the communities we serve and program participants to apply for the role. This is in conjunction with our Accelerate Program which seeks to assist with job readiness and mentoring. With the rise of job loss due to the pandemic and lock down we believe this will be very useful functionality to link participants and employees together with our network and influence.
